We are a dynamic, multi-disciplinary and innovative team of Naval Architects and Naval Engineers that provide our clients with practical engineered solutions whatever their problem. Our team specialise in Vessel Design & Modifications, Build and Contract Management, Stability Analysis, Alternative Propulsion Systems, Regulatory Compliance and Safety Consultancy.
From cutting-edge technology such as the design and delivery of foil assisted catamarans and partial electrification of marine research vessels, to the design, build and management of a hybrid 24m car and passenger ferry for Ireland, MDI is committed to providing its clients with the best possible experience.
MDI has established itself globally as a reliable and trusted partner for our clients in United Kingdom and Ireland, Taiwan, the Falkland Islands, North America, and Canada. By building on our predecessor’s successful designs [Napier Co.], Marine Design International is well placed to solve the needs of our clients where they are placed geographically.
We are currently undertaking a period of growth and are looking to add skilled colleauges to the team.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to take a leading role in an array of our ongoing and planned workload providing a holistic responsibility for ship design.
